If you are fed up with national chains, where you haven't a clue how much training your tax preparer has had, or where your fees increase every year, we offer a quality alternative.

At Lorelei Business Management, Inc. every tax return is prepared by an Enrolled Agent.  Enrolled Agents have passed a rigorous IRS-administered exam covering broad areas of tax code, and must adhere to strict continuing education and ethical requirements in order to maintain their Enrolled Agent status.  No one knows all the ins and outs of the tax code, but at Lorelei Business Management, Inc. we do not believe that ignorance is bliss!

Most of our clients drop off their relevant paperwork at our office, although we also offer limited appointments to have your tax return prepared while you wait.  (Please call our office for availability.)  We request that new clients bring a copy of their previous year's tax return; and for anyone using our drop-box, we ask that your packet include your telephone number and the best time(s) to reach you.  Our tax preparation software requires a DOB for every individual listed on the return, as well as names and Social Security numbers.  In addition, your packet should include all the "normal" tax information, such as W-2s, 1099s, 1098s, and more.  If in doubt about the relevance of any information, simply ask, or go by the general rule of "better too much information than too little."

We offer e-filing with the IRS and all 50 states, and we prepare a packet for you to mail to meet the requirements of your local taxing agency.  All supporting documentation is scanned into our system, and we send you home with a tidy reference package for your records.  We encourage IRS direct deposit of your refund; we do not offer any bank products (refund anticipation loans, etc.).
